Summer Overview 2022

The summer tournament season has been shorter this year for me. I have an early fall season due to joining Lake Mary High School team in Florida which I am excited to start. Last spring I played one last season for my team in Minnesota. We won our section tournament and placed 3rd at state under very hot and windy conditions. I played well on the second day to come in 7th overall with a 148 total.
Some of the highlights from summer were placing 1st at the Jr PGA Championship for my age group and placing top 20 in the Optimist International Tournament in Doral out of 106. I also played in the USGA US Girls qualifier and my first AJGA open tournament in Milwaukee. It was a fun summer to meet new girls from all over the country. While I did not score as well as I wanted this summer, with the hard work I have been doing on my swing adjustments I feel my game is much better this year and the scoring will soon follow. A small step back to leap forward!
This winter, a goal is to work extra on my short game and continue to be confident in my prior swing adjustments. I know I will be be more than ready for the 2023 golf season. I will be playing many tournaments over the winter which I will keep updated on the site.
